Gerolding – Melk
My route takes me from the plateau to the Danube 🧜♂️🧜♀️ and then to Melk, the gateway to the Wachau. It gets adventurous, numerous stream crossings await.
Aggsbach Dorf – Gerolding
From the Aggsbach monastery, I climb up a strenuous Way of the Cross and reach the plateau of the Dunkelsteinerwald forest. A glorious day ☀️
Hofarnsdorf – Rossatz
A Roman path takes me into the autumnal Kupfertal and further to the Dunkelsteinerwald with a stop at the Seekopf viewing tower. Downhill through the Steinige Ries.

Through the peaceful, green floodplain of the Lower Murtal Biosphere Reserve with some sightseeing of the magnificent historic centre of Bad Radkersburg and the Radenci spa.
City Trail 1 Freinberg
A hike that reveals unknown facets of Linz, besides its status as an industrial city. A beautiful panorama, blossoming nature and a well-kept old town centre with Linz Palace.
Lafnitz Valley Frontier Route
A warm, sunny spring hike into the Lafnitz Valley to an artistic Easter market in the moated castle of Burgau. Past golf courses and along the meandering Lafnitz.
Cycling
Sulzberg Route
A fantastic mountain bike tour in the southern Waldviertel. I ride on the Scheibe along the Danube high up into the Ostrong Forest onto the Sulzberg.
Cider Baron Circuit
The apple 🍎 is in bloom! A varied round trip with great panoramic views, blossoming orchards, some history and tantalising delicacies.
Muehlberg Course
A short and steep mountainbike tour in the Strudengau. Perfect for a scenic detour of the Danube Cylce Path
